Yes, it would seem that this blog hasnt been picked up by the enormous hand of the intarweb, crumpled and thrown into the wastebin, hooray for that!
Now an update, i have just begun playing Fallout 3, a great game by my standards, even though it contains some quite earcatching tunes from the 50's.
Now, i have not played any other fallout games, since the only one i have ever found, was a scratched-up copy from the local library, which of course didn't work.
I am, so far, really enjoying the freedom, akin to oblivion, allows me to look over a crumpled Washington DC. filled to the brim with monsters, sadistic raiders, merc's who seem really intent upon giving me a "friendly hug".
While i am, so far, really excited about Fallout 3, another Sandbox game has really stuck a finger in the eye of my anticipation (including it turning the finger around afterwards).
This game is Called Far Cry 2, while sharing the name, it really has nothing to do with the original Far cry. This game takes place on the savanna of some african dump, beatifully rendered, along with a full blown guerilla war.
While the game itself is very freedom-based, it gets really tedious and boring, every mission being totally the same: get this, smash him, blow up that. It doesnt really help that the voice-acting is so bad you will end up having to surgically untangle your toes. Really, if there was one game that you had to "warez" it would be this.
Until next time;
